Hi,
Clive, Mel, Tom and Josh warmly welcome you to Coombys Farm. A working sheep farm that has been a part of the family for over 80 years! Since 1932, Coombys Farm has been home to four generations of our family. All the hard work is finally coming together and we have enjoyed watching our family business grow over that time.
Just like any other family, we want our children and grandchildren to grow up happy and healthy in a world that's worth living in. That's why we've always been dedicated to our farm, our lodges and their surroundings. We care about the farms sustainability - protecting nature, truly caring more about the environment and keeping our farmland natural and sustainable for the future.
After four generations, it matters to us that we keep with the family tradition and we are still farming sheep.
Our lodges are set among the farm’s 105 acres of lush pasture, located in the Parish of Highley, just a 15 minute drive from the beautiful market town of Bridgnorth. Coombys Farm is the perfect hub to visit the wonderful Shropshire countryside.
Each of our three lodges are fully equipped to meet your needs – all enjoying stunning views across the unspoilt countryside. With the River Severn right on your doorstep you can enjoy stress free, forever memories with large, private spaces and BBQ areas outside. All of this overlooking beautiful views to creates the perfect family holiday. Why stop the memories because its getting dark? With no light pollution, the night sky is dazzling – you’ll rediscover the stars!

THE FARM
Our luxury lodge holidays are all about making it easy to enjoy the great outdoors. Being in a countryside idyll doesn’t mean you have to abandon all your comforts. Unwind in front of the TV or play music through the cabin’s WiFi. You’ll find yourself placed in Shropshire, known as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It’s easy to reach some top restaurants and cosy town pubs from our lodges. We built every one of our eco-friendly lodges by hand, as a family. There are just 3 luxury lodges at our private home, each hidden away from one another. That means you can look forward to acres of open space all around you. Get ready to be stunned by the sense of seclusion.

'This is a wonderful place, the scenery is beautiful even if you don't catch any fish. A nice good stretch of river, accessible all along and with a decent head of fish. I haven't stayed at the cottages but they look very nice and I am told that a lot people return year after year. If you love the country or fishing or both give it a try.'

"Coombys farm is a lovely plot of lodges situated right next to the river Severn. The lodges have different views depending on the one you book. Stayed in valley view that had an overlook to the river. The lodges are very spacious and comfortable to stay in. Large kitchen with everything you would need. Private car parking is included with a gate to keep others out. There is a shed in the garden with fridge to keep all fishing gear in and bait cool. The railway runs next to the lodges so catching the steam train to bridgnorth or other aces is really easy. Will definitely be coming back here again in the near future."
